Who We Are
Sail North is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded to support youth sailing in North Kingstown and Jamestown with special emphasis on the North Kingstown High School Sailing Team.The organization is made up of parents and supporters from the community, has an active executive board, and welcomes your support anytime.
Founded 2019
High school sailing requires substantial annual funding to ensure both safety and competitiveness. Sail North was founded to help meet this need for our competitive youth sailors.Since its founding in 2019, Sail North has successfully fundraised to purchase a fleet of 12 "new" 420s for use by the North Kingstown High School sailing team, a 17ft Boston Whaler for use as a coach boat, and a set of new sails.
Support
Sail North fundraises annually to support the team to purchase everything from boat epoxy to safety equipment to sails and beyond. Every dollar of your gift directly supports to team.
